The Center, both on its own and in partnership with other organizations, hosts and sponsors a range of conferences, lectures, workshops, CLEs, court hearings and oral arguments, and other events.
Recurring events include the Bay Area Procedure Forum, an annual NITA Deposition and Trial Skills program, and the annual Complex Litigation Ethics Conference.
Other events include the following:
- In summer 2024, the Center will organize the Ninth Annual Civil Procedure Workshop on the UC Law SF campus.
- In March 2024, the Center hosted and cosponsored, with ABOTA, the second installment of a three-year conference series on “A More Perfect Jury.”
- In November 2021, the Center hosted and cosponsored, with the Pound Civil Justice Institute, an academic conference titled “The Internet and the Law: Legal Challenges in the New Digital Age” on the UC Law SF campus.
