The Racial Dot Map

The Racial Dot Map is a visual map of racial distribution in the United States, using color-coded dots that provides “an accessible visualization of geographic distribution, population density, and racial diversity of the American people in every neighborhood in the entire country.” A zoom function allows you to focus on different areas. The map was designed in July, 2013 by Dustin Cable at the University of Virginia Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service. The Data is based on the 2010 Census.
